SYNTRAN® AC 7080
| Technical Information | SYNTRAN®AC 7080 is an aqueous solution of a polyacrylic acid homopolymer with high molecular weight. It is free of surfactants upon polymerisation and can remain stable and clear at a low pH (1-3), although the processing temperature should not exceed 110 °C. After drying at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity, it forms a film that can be used as a smooth protective coating on various surfaces such as synthetic fibres. SYNTRAN® AC 7080 has an outstanding binding effect on metal combined with very good chemical resistance including diesel and E10 fuel. It can also be used to formulate a rust converter. SYNTRAN® AC 7080 is miscible with water in any ratio and turbidity does not affect the product quality. |
