SYNTRAN® AC 7101
| Technical Information | SYNTRAN®AC 7101 is a water-based alkali-soluble styrene-acrylic copolymer based on our polymeric surfactant technology and used as an alkali-soluble resin in inks and overprint varnishes, to improve the gloss and levelling. This polymer was designed to improve dispersibility and colour development of water-based pigment concentrates and coatings and can be used for both inorganic and organic pigment dispersions. Used as a grinding resin, it shows excellent rheology control and storage stability with multiple pigment types. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® AC 7101 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. |
