Zschimmer & Schwarz is a specialized technology provider of products for the manufacture of transparent fire rated glass and security elements for applications in shipbuilding and building construction. With our technology, interested glass processors have the opportunity to produce their own fire rated glass units and construction components that meet European as well as international standards and building regulations.

With a combination of many years of experience and a comprehensive, patent-protected know-how, we support our partners – from the first idea through production planning to the manufacture of the first glasses.

FIRE RATED GLASS TECHNOLOGY

Our technology is used in fire rated and safety glass of all internationally prescribed standards such as EN, UL incl Hostream test, ASTM or BS. The resulting products are internationally classified in accordance with E/EW/A0 (with defined limitation of dangerous heat radiation) and/or class EI/A60 (with temperature limitation on the side facing away from the fire).
