As part of the “Retten macht Schule” (A lesson in first aid) project, pupils from seventh grade onwards in the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate are to be trained as lifesavers in their schools.
Specially trained teachers use training dummies to teach the young people the most important measures in resuscitation situations, such as chest compressions and how to use lay defibrillators.
Our donation goes to the Paula Wittenberg Foundation to provide the schools with additional training materials, such as resuscitation dummies and educational DVDs.
