The Friedrich August III secondary school in Chemnitz, Germany, is an independent school with a focus on skilled crafts and trades that supports pupils from the fifth grade to the secondary school leaving certificate.

Long-term partnerships with craft and service companies in the region provide pupils with early access to future careers. The additional school subject of skilled crafts and trades as well as company visits and internships from eighth grade onwards are designed to help them gain extensive practical experience and ultimately decide which vocational training is right for them.

The donation will be divided equally between the Friedrich August III Secondary School and its support association, for example for the provision of teaching, learning and illustrative materials or financial support for school trips and excursions.
