SYNTRAN® AC 2901
| Technical Information | Inherently matte acrylic polymer. This technology produces a film with low gloss, high flexibility and excellent stability while providing excellent adhesion to various substrate types. SYNTRAN® AC 2901 forms a low-gloss film without the additional use of waxes or powdered matting agents and gives a slightly soft touch to the surface. It is compatible with both organic and inorganic pigment pastes and can be used to produce matte formulations without affecting the colour of the ink or the substrate, providing a very natural, “non-coated” appearance of the substrate. It is recommended to fortify SYNTRAN® AC 2901 with another acrylic resin (like SYNTRAN® AC or SYNTRAN® AC 5917), isocyanates or PUD to improve the overall film properties. |
