In line with a clearly defined growth strategy, the specialty chemicals manufacturer Zschimmer & Schwarz with headquarters in Lahnstein, Germany, has acquired all shares of the Indonesian company PT Smaltochimica Asia. The transaction was completed on 1 January 2019, expanding Zschimmer & Schwarz’s worldwide network as well as the company’s ceramic auxiliaries portfolio.

New name, proven products
In the future, the company will operate under the name “PT Zschimmer and Schwarz Asian”. Customers in Southeast Asia will profit from the well-established product ranges of Smaltochimica Asia, NEOS Additivos and Zschimmer & Schwarz, allowing them to fully rely on tailor-made solutions for ceramics.
