The outpatient children’s and youth hospice in Koblenz supports families in which a young person has a limited life expectancy due to an incurable illness or disability – from diagnosis until after death.
The aim is to enable children and young people to live a life worth living at home in their familiar surroundings until the end. Families are supported by trained volunteers and hospice/palliative care specialists. They look after the sick child, take the siblings to sports, go shopping and do much more to relieve the burden on the families concerned. Financial support is also possible, for example to fulfil a last heartfelt wish or to cover the costs of the funeral.
With our donation, we support this valuable work, which is largely financed by donations.
