AQUACOLOR water-based inks are nano-scale pigment dispersions carried in water and polar solvents. Their formulation reduces the organic content by around 50 %, which in turn significantly lowers VOCs, aldehydes and TOC – the main drivers of odor and pollutant emissions.

AQUACOLOR combines color consistency with high technical and aesthetic performance: crisp print definition, smooth process continuity and reliable in-line operation. And since the system is water-based, it eliminates repellency issues that typically arise from the polarity discrepancy between non-polar solvent-based inks and the polar aqueous solutions used along the glazing lines.

Stable viscosity and surface tension at jetting temperatures between 30 and 50 °C, along with a density range of approximately 1.1 to 1.4 g/cm³ depending on the formulation, ensure consistent and precise printing performance.

Application area - Building materials: unfired materials - Plaster - Wood

The AQUACOLOR CC product line offers water-based digital printing inks designed for a wide range of printing applications while minimizing environmental impact. Thanks to an advanced formulation with nanometric pigments dispersed in water and polar solvents, the organic content is reduced by around 50 %, significantly lowering emissions of VOCs, aldehydes, and TOC, which are major sources of odors and pollutants.

AQUACOLOR CC inks are compatible with different printing systems and provide excellent resistance to moisture and climatic influences, long-lasting color stability, and strong abrasion resistance. In the construction materials industry, these inks allow direct printing onto surfaces without a primer. After printing, a protective varnish can be applied using spraying or roller methods. The inks are UV-resistant and form a reliable bond with both the hardened material and the protective coating, ensuring durable, high-quality decoration.

Application area - Paper

SYNTRAJET C is a water-based pigment ink series designed for industrial digital printing on corrugated, folding carton substrates, and paper labels with open or absorbent surfaces (non-foil). 

The range combines fast drying, strong color intensity, and excellent jetting stability for high-speed printing environments. The ink formulation supports sustainable paper-based packaging concepts, offering odor-neutral, low-migration, and DFC-compliant variants where required.

These special UV-resistant inks allow direct printing on absorbent surfaces without a primer, simplifying the application process. Most of these products are based on polar systems and have been developed to reduce odors and emissions generated during firing, contributing to a lower environmental footprint. The available formulations vary in several key aspects, including their chemical makeup - such as water content and the use of fluxing components – as well as operating temperature range, flow and leveling behavior, solid content, and interaction with grits.

Optimal performance in production is always the result of a balanced combination of factors, including line configuration, raw materials, and the characteristics of the finished ceramic product.

TRUBOND solvent-based digital glues are engineered to ensure reliable adhesion of fine powders and granules on ceramic surfaces. Thanks to a polymer-based formulation with high bonding efficiency, they support the creation of a broad variety of decorative solutions and surface finishes.

The products in this range are enriched with ceramic fluxes that promote optimal melting during firing, contributing to improved performance and durability of the applied decoration.

Developed with production efficiency in mind, TRUBOND digital glues are easy to handle and require limited maintenance. Regular visual checks of the printing bar and timely filter replacement, in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s guidelines, are sufficient to ensure consistent results.
